Fredericton Region Museum — Artist Residency, July 2026

In July 2026, I was invited to complete an artist residency with the Fredericton Region Museum, developing a series of digitally drawn illustrations inspired by the museum and its collections.

Over two weeks, I worked on site, exploring the museum through drawing and close observation. The resulting six illustrations interpret selected objects, stories, and details from the collection, using contemporary visual storytelling as another way to engage with the region’s history.

The residency brought together many of the ideas at the centre of my practice: research, heritage, observation, and illustration as a way of encouraging people to look more closely at the stories held within museums and historic places.
