A Little About Pletz Kreativ

Hi! I’m Rachel Pletz, the artist behind Pletz Kreativ.

Over here in New Brunswick there are lots of hidden gems rooted in history, nature, and culture that aren’t always front and centre when you think of Canada.

I explore landscapes, wildlife, museums, historical sites, and communities through photography and ink studies to deepen my understanding and experience of local culture and history. Then, I share these discoveries through ink drawings, hand-drawn colouring books, photography prints, digital imagery, and children’s literature.

Driven by curiosity and compelled to create, Pletz Kreativ offers artistic explorations and visual storytelling in both interactive and observational media for all ages!
